Spring Break BREAK!!!

On April 25th, plan to let it all hang out!!!  Wear something tighter, brighter, or lesser.  Be creative!  You can use body paint, stickers, mesh tops, whatever, to cover areas that you are unsure of!!!  Let's get ready for the summer together and prove that we are PROUD OF WHAT WE HAVE!!!

We have just a couple of more months before we strut our stuff!!!  Right now many stores are having clearance sales on many of their workout clothes.  Find something that you have always wanted to try, but just weren't brave enough.  The end of April is our deadline!  You can do it!!!

Class February 20th, President's Day

The kids are out of school, but we need our Zumba fix!  See you Monday, February 20th at 8:30 pm in Saratoga Springs!

Class Monday, January 16th and Abs on Wednesdays

Okay, enough vacation we are ready to get it into gear.  So we WILL have class on Monday, the 16th.  We are also starting to do abs exercises after class on Wednesdays.  Just for a short 5-10 minutes.  Please bring a mat or towel to lay on.

Do you need a challenge?

Mary and I were attending Jessica's class this last Saturday and thought, "Wow!" We want to be able to be proud enough of our bodies to show it!!  So....we came up with a challenge. 

HERE IT IS.....

BY THE END OF APRIL WE ARE GOING TO ROCK THE SPORTS BRA!!!

So what does this mean?  We are going to work hard on being proud of our stomachs!  You heard me, that blob that is just above the hips. For years, I have ignored this area. Yes, I have done ab exercises and watched my diet. But, this is a challenge. After babies, surgeries, and age there is just a lot of explaining to do.  But now  no more excuses!  Mary and I are going to wear just a sports bra and cargo pants (at least for one song, we may blind you with our fluorescent stomachs). 

So how does this apply to you????  Come join us!  If you don't want to just do a sports bra, how about a tank top or spandex pants?  Think of something you have been afraid of putting on for fear there was a weight limit or jiggly limit attached to it.  BE BRAVE AND PROUD OF BEING YOU!!!!

Class on Memorial Day, May 30th

I know I am!!! Even though the weather can't figure out what season it is, we all know that it can change in a day!  Summer will be here and we will look at our swim suit and think is that really mine or my small child's?

Start working now so you will be ready to strut with confidence! We have 4 weeks 'till June, you can have a more toned and better body by then.  Let's work on it together.  If you need help with ideas on how to maximize your Zumba workout, just ask.  I have plenty of ideas that really work and aren't painful or expensive.

Zumba Beach Party May 20th

Get out the shorts, grass skirts, coconut bras, and leis.... We are gonna partay!  Tickets on sale now for $8 or $10 at the door. Food, door prizes, fun, Zumba, what more could you ask for?

Day:  Friday, May 20th

Time:  7-9 pm ( don't worry we will have some food and water and a bathroom break)

Cost: $8 until May 19th/ $10 at door

Bring your towel, waterbottle, beach attire and a HUGE smile!!! 

2 for $25 or 1 for $15

I have size small to purchase for $15 or 2 for $25.  Wear them alone or with a tank underneath.  You can also cut the straps to make a halter-type look.  These shirts run big. I actually wore a size small the other day to class and I normally wear an X-large. I have t-shirts (one size fits all) that are black and white that say, "Feel the music" and "Live it, Love it" on the front and the Zumba logo on the back for $10.  If you would like the t-shirts cut up or shaped to fit you, see either myself or Vanasa Bennet (bellydance scarf queen) and for an additional cost we can customize them for you.

New Punch cards starting February 1st!!!!

Starting February 1st we will have new punch cards.  The price is still $30, but it will have 8 punches instead of 10.  You will also have the opportunity to earn a free class if you use your punch card within 1 month.

I know increasing prices is never a popular or happy thing.  For some of you it might be too much.  I hope it isn't.  I want you all to know I enjoy spending my time with you. But, I understand feelings may be mixed about this.  I could spout out about my credentials and experience and how you are getting a steal for the price blah...blah...blah, but the bottom is this:

I LOVE what I do. I stared this journey with the desire to provide an exceptional class for anyone who wanted to take it. I still feel we are achieving this goal. I hope this FAQs section can answer some of your questions and concerns.

Q- Can I still use my 10 class punch card after February 1st?

A - YES! Remember there are no expiration dates on any of the cards.

Q- Will the drop in fee change?

A - No. It will stay the same at $5.00/class.

Q- If I want to take advantage of the current punch card, could I buy more than one before February 1st to use at a later time?

A - Yes!!!

Q- Why the change?

A - When I first came to Utah and starting teaching, 2 years ago, the price to take a Zumba class ranged from $3-$10 per class.  I decided to charge the lower price so anyone could come and enjoy a class.  Over the years my overhead has increased and now it just isn't possible to cover all of my expenses without either giving up some classes or raising the price.  Even with the new punch card, if you include the free class, you will only pay $3.33/class.

Q - How do you earn and redeem your free class?

A - If you use up your punch card within a month, you will be given a free class voucher.  You can use your free class voucher at anytime.

Q - Am I the only one that can use my free class voucher?

A - No. Anyone can use it, so hang on to it.  They cannot be replaced!

Q - How will you keep track of whether I have used my 8 class punch card within a month?

A - You will have a date put on your card, which is your purchase date.  You have until the next month on that day to use it to earn your free class. Remember the card does not expire so even though you didn't earn a free class this time you can still use your card after the month has expired.

Q - What if I misplace my 10 class punch card after February 1st? Will it be replaced with the old punch card or the new, 8 class punch card?

A - Your punch card will be replaced with the same one you bought minus the times you have attended.  The same if you bought an 8 class punch card, except that your original purchase date will be on it as well.
